Is surgery accompanied by swelling?
Although there are variations among individuals, little swelling usually occurs when a smaller number of implants and no bone augmentation to increase quantity of the bone.
Swelling will result when a larger number of implants are put in place and bone augmentation is performed, but the swelling will return to normal again about one week. As swelling is a normal physical reaction, there is no need to worry.
